UTR Sports (Universal Tennis Rating) is the world’s most accurate and inclusive player rating system — designed to match tennis players based on level, not age or gender. Every player has a UTR score (1.00–16.50) that reflects their actual skill level, updated dynamically with each verified match played.

USTA Adult Leagues are organized team-based competitions that bring players of all levels together for fun, competitive, and social match play. Players are grouped by their NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) level — from beginners (2.5) to advanced players (5.0+) — ensuring fair and exciting matches for everyone.
Teams represent their local clubs or facilities, competing in seasonal matches against other teams within the region. Winners advance through local, sectional, and national championships, making each season both competitive and community-driven.
At FIG Garden, USTA Leagues are a cornerstone of adult play, offering members a chance to improve their skills, meet new players, and represent their club in a spirited team environment.

Ladies Inner-City League
Compete locally. Connect socially. Represent your club.
The Ladies Inner City Leagues are a long-standing Fresno tennis tradition that bring together women from clubs across the Central Valley for friendly, competitive team play. Organized by level, these leagues give players the chance to represent their home club, build camaraderie, and enjoy weekly matches in a supportive, social environment.
Teams compete throughout the season in both home and away matches, rotating between local clubs such as FIG Garden, Copper River, Sierra Sport, and others. After matches, players often gather to share refreshments and celebrate the community spirit that defines Fresno’s tennis scene.

Each event is organized for fair, competitive play — ensuring every match is both challenging and rewarding.
